Rooms

 

  • We have 3 different room types: Heritage (located in the main building), Park (located in the Eco River Lodge) and River Grand (in either the main building or the Eco River Lodge). We also have 2 dog-friendly rooms (located in the Miller’s House)

  • We have many different packages that range from room and breakfast to room, dinner, breakfast, and spa treatments. You are invited to view our packages or call us directly.

  • All of our rooms have one bed, (with the exception of 2 Park rooms in the Eco River lodge that have 2 Queen beds).

  • The artwork and upgraded painting in all of our rooms make bike storage within the Hotel inappropriate. We ask to use our bike / ski barn secure area. Please bring a lock to lock them separately inside this room.

Dining

  • We have two dining options: La Muse Restaurant, which features fine dining for breakfast and dinner; and the Héron Wine Bar & Lounge, which offers full service and small plates for afternoon and evening fare.

  • Many of our featured offerings such as our nightly Table d’Hôte Menu and our Discovery Menu are offered in many of our packages. Please see Our Packages for more details.

  • Reservations are always recommended for La Muse and Heron. You can book your table online via Libro. The Lounge requires no reservations and is always available.

Spa & Wellness

 

  • We offer a full range of massages, as well as facial therapies, body treatments, scenic pedicures and manicures. Our À la carte menu allows you to choose the best spa treatments for you. Our spa packages are also a great option to live a complete wellness experience!

  • You can book spa treatments by calling our reception team anytime between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., seven days a week at (819) 459-1838. You can also email us at spa@wakefieldmill.com

  • At Holtz Spa in Nature, we use Éminence Organics products, a complete skin and body care line from Hungary carried in the most prestigious spas internationally. We also use pure essential oil blends and natural products to make you reconnect with nature.

  • Yes. Our spa features five treatment rooms, a spacious relaxation area, outdoor terraces and a hot tub – perfect for a small group looking to escape.

  • Yes. All of our massage therapists are registered and can issue receipts.

  • Yes. We have a couple’s massage room as a well as a couple’s massage exterior tent.

 

Meetings & Events

  • The Wakefield Mill Hotel and Spa offers 3 meeting/function rooms ranging in size from 391 to 1600 sq.ft. All function rooms are air-conditioned and have comfortable seating as well as multiuse lighting options.

  • Yes. From Monday to Friday, the Wakefield Mill Hotel and Spa’s Executive Overnight Conference Package includes one night’s accommodation, table d’hôte dinner, full country breakfast, lunch, two coffee/tea breaks, wireless Internet access, and free parking (Meeting room rental, gratuities, and taxes not included).

  • Yes. Our day package includes full country breakfast, two coffee breaks, lunch, flipchart and markers, wireless Internet access, and free parking (Meeting room rental, gratuities, and taxes not included).

  • Available in all meeting rooms free of charge: wireless high-speed Internet, flipchart and/or whiteboard, projector screen (if needed), and extension cords (if needed).

    Additional meeting support services include: computer and printer access, photocopying, fax, courier and postal services, translation, word processing, and simultaneous interpretation.

  • Yes. The Wakefield Mill Hotel and Spa offers a range of banquet facilities perfect for your celebration, whether it is an intimate birthday dinner with family, a special anniversary dinner, a corporate banquet, or a spectacular wedding up to 25 guests.

Reservations

  • You can make an online reservation through our website or you can call call us directly. Click here to contact us.

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, cash, debit, and gift certificates from our hotel, the Ôrigine artisans hôteliers network.

  • Our cancellation policy is 48h prior to the date of arrival. A 100$ deposit will be taken upon making the reservation; if the 48 hours policy is respected we will refund the deposit.

  • Check in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m.

General

  • The Mill is located in the town of Wakefield, Quebec, next to Gatineau Park about 20 minutes from Ottawa and 2.5 hours from Montréal.

  • No we do not have this option.

  • Our staff is ready to serve guests in English or French.

  • All of our guests have access to our outdoor hot tubs, pool and barrel sauna (9am-11pm). We also offer a natural river pond that is filled with fresh water from the waterfall during the summer season.

  • The hotel provides our guests with an assortment of activities. Beyond our spa, board games, and pool table, guests can enjoy golf, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.

  • We are always happy to hear from our guests. Please feel free to direct your comments to us in person or by email, or post to our Facebook page or TripAdvisor page.

  • Parking is free and we have about 60 outside spaces available. We also provide our guests with an electric vehicle charging station at the Eco River Lodge.

    If you are visiting from outside of Quebec, make sure your license plate is legally registered. Please be advised that the MRC des Collins police monitors public AND PRIVATE parking spaces in Quebec and will issue tickets for non validation of license plates.

  • The hotel is pleased to offer complimentary wireless Internet to all of our guests in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas.

  • Our gift certificates can be purchased at the hotel for a specific amount or for any of our packages. These can be redeemed for rooms, dining or spa. They also can be purchased online here.
