How long have you been working with us?

Why did you choose to work at the Wakefield Mill?
My daughter already worked here, and I've always worked in restaurants so I wanted to join the team!
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love my customers, the human contact and the bonds I forge with them.
What is your favorite task ?
Welcoming our guests to the restaurant in the morning.
What is the essential quality to do your job ?
Social skills.
What is your best memory at the Wakefield Mill ?
There are quite a few, but serving Mr Trudeau and his family was really great, they were very down-to-earth and friendly.
An anecdote to share ?
We use to have a group of ladies between 75 and 80 years old who came every 2 years or so. They did about 30km of cross-country skiing a day, even at -30! They were very inspiring!
What do you enjoy the most of the region ?
Gatineau Park and the Mill site.
Why would you recommend the Wakefield Mill for work and/or sightseeing?
It's a lovely place! The tranquility, the views and the village of Wakefield are well worth discovering!
