Swedish relaxing massage

The Swedish massage is a technique of massage that consists in relaxing the muscle in its entirety while focusing on the muscle attachments as well as the tendons. Also, this technique allows a deep relaxation at the physical level as well as the psychic level and increases the amplitude of movement of the articulations.

Pregnancy massage

The therapist uses special cushions to allow the client to lie on her side during the massage. A lighter Swedish massage is the perfect treatment for an expectant mother.

Hot Stone massage therapy combines the benefits of hydrotherapy and thermalism (or thermotherapy – the use of heat applications) with the strokes of massage using Stones to create a deep, relaxing and healing treatment.  The heat of the massage stones warms the skin, which allows for the absorption of moisturizing and therapeutic oils, while simultaneously preparing the musculature of the body so the massage therapist can work into the deeper muscle layers.

Lymphatic drainage

Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized form of massage that is gentle, flowing, and rhythmic. Techniques are used to help stimulate and encourage the Lymphatic System to resume its natural function. Excess fluid is guided away from the congested area. One of the functions of the lymphatic system is to remove excess fluids and waste products from tissues and carry nutrients to cells. The drainage is a technique of choice to improve cases of oedema, cellulitis, stress, stretch marks, acne, blotches and eczema.

Reiki energy treatment

Reiki is an excellent relaxation and therapeutic technique.  The word Reiki (pronounced Ray-Kee) is Japanese and it means "universal life force energy." This energy is channeled through a therapist by a hands-on healing technique.  The guest can remain fully dressed and is covered by a blanket.  This holistic method helps rid the body of energy blocages and promotes a deep relaxation.  It eases physical pain and reduces chronic stress.  It also reinforces and accelerates the natural healing process of the body and encourages the elimination of toxins.  It's an holistic system which has as a main goal to balance the qi (energy life force) which in turn permits the well-being and revitalisation of the body, the mind, the emotions and the spirit.
